VACDL's Spring Seminar 2023 will be held at the Hyatt House Richmond (at Short Pump), 11800 West Broad Street, Ste 1098, Henrico, VA 23233 on FRIDAY, April 21, 2023.

   This program will be presented as a hybrid event: we will allow up to 70 in-person attendees in Short Pump and an unlimited number of virtual attendees, via Zoom.  Breakfast, lunch and other refreshments will be provided to our in-person attendees throughout the program.

 Board Meeting and Reception: On Thursday, April 20, 2023, the VACDL Board of Directors will meet in the Linden Boardroom from 4-5:30 p.m. All VACDL members in good standing are welcome to attend the Board Meeting, but please inform our Executive Director, Danielle Payne, if you plan to attend so that she can ensure sufficient seating in the meeting room. 

  We will also host a small "happy hour" style reception on the 2nd Floor Patio at the Hyatt House Short Pump from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023 which will be open to all Spring CLE registrants, speakers and special guests.

The Central Reservations phone number is 1-888-591-1234. Once you are on the phone with them let the guest agent know the name of the event VA Criminal Defense Lawyers along with the dates of your stay. From there they will be able to access the block with the right room types and rates.

Calling the Hotel directly:

The direct hotel phone number is (804) 360-7021 extension 0. That will bring you directly to the front desk where any of the guest agents will be glad to make your reservation. Just like you would when calling the Central Reservation line, inform the agent the event name VA Criminal Defense Lawyers and dates of your stay. This will ensure that you receive the discounted rate and correct room type.

Materials will be emailed (via Dropbox link) to attendees during the week of the seminar, along with the Zoom Link for virtual attendees.  

This course is pending approval for 6.0 live-interactive CLE credits, including 1 ethics credit.

Breakfast, lunch and refreshment breaks on Friday, as well as the Thursday Happy Hour, are all included with the tuition fee.

All cancellation and refund requests must be made in writing only, by email to vacdlawyers@gmail.com, no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 14, 2023 to receive a refund of the tuition less a $25 administrative fee.

Registrants may pay by credit card online. UPDATE: We will accept checks as methods of payment until April 10, 2023. After that time, you must pay by credit or debit card (*unless you have specific approval from the Executive Director*).  All registration fees must be paid in advance of the program.
